NEW ARTICLE "HOW LEADERS INFLUENCE THE NAYSAYERS''

I have posted a new Article in the Publications section titled “How Leaders Influence The Naysayers”. Fifty years ago Pink Floyd recorded a classic song called “Us and Them” - this article provides advice on how managers can avoid the same dynamic in the workplace. It also provides advice on persuasion methods favoured by dictators that are best avoided by genuine leaders, including the practice of poisoning underpants. Influencing is an important leadership skill, and this is my third article in the series about how leaders influence others. The first article examined the nature of influence and my Three Influence Steps. The second explored the latest research from neuroscience and how it expands our understanding of the scope to influence others. Now we come up against the Naysayers!
