In this Blog I review some key insights from Doris Kearn Goodwin's fantastic historical study of the political and leadership genius of Abraham Lincoln. For me, Lincoln emerges from these pages not just as a highly effective change agent, but as a truly great human being. I draw some parallel lessons from his leadership and the approaches which we advocate on our own leadership programs.
