LEADERS AND THE STOCKHOLM SYNDROME

In this Article I argue that senior leaders often become captive to the norms and expectations of their own organisations. Some environments bring the best out of leaders and some don't. One of the tasks of leaders is to shape and build an environment which calls forth their leadership. In this Article I recommend some ways that leaders can do this.
