FINDING SOME BOUNCE

No that is not me ripping into it at Bounce. But I have been facilitating a development session with their terrific leadership team. What an impressive story of innovation and growth for an Australian start-up. Having opened their first venue in Glen Iris, Melbourne, in 2012 they have become something of a global phenomenon and are now involved in over 30 venues in 15 countries. My teenage daughter loves it - bit too strenuous for me though!

VENUE FOR OWNER MANAGERS' WORKSHOP

No, this is not a happy holiday snap. A wee yacht like this parked off Hamilton Island has been the venue for my latest Professional Workshop for Leading Owner Managers. The lapping of the water against the boat is very conducive to reflection. Back to vegemite sandwiches soon!

I have posted a new Podcast featuring Peter Cebon, Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, who runs the Innovation Practices Program in the Masters of Engineering. He talks about the challenge facing many professionals and skilled workers, namely, the rapid automation of their roles and the need for them to be more adaptive and innovative. My recent article posted in the publications section and called "The Curious Leader" also explores aspects of the innovation challenge and my involvement in the Innovation Program run by Peter.
