Curiouser and curiouser. Apparently curiosity "killed the cat". But the great leadership scholar Shaun Micallef warns about the alternative which is "curiosity cul-de-sac". My own next curious L&S work adventure takes meto the land of the crocodile in Darwin, and then to the land of the exotic kiwi in New Zealand.

NURTURING TALENT

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURES THINKING

The claim that leadership development programs don’t work because they do not address the overlooking context, decoupling reflection from real work, understanding mind-sets, and failing to measure results, are made by Pierre Gurdjian, Thomas Halbeisen and Kevin Lane from McKinsey (mickinsey.com 14 March 2018). TWO RECENT ARTICLES

I have posted two recent articles in the Publications Section. One is titled "How Leaders Win Friends and Influence People"  and the other is "How Do Leaders Build The Trust Thing?". I hope you enjoy them and my apologies to those who have already received them. Note also that over this weekend Richmond broke the drought and won the AFL Premiership. Lots of reviews have wondered how the club came from 13th last year to 1st this year and they have concluded among other things that it was a renewed team and organizational focus on leadership, trust and connection.
